Tips for Local Love Contest Entries

Image
1.  Everything starts with snapping a picture or shooting a video clip. You can use a picture/video you took in the past, take a picture/video with your phone's camera, or take a picture/video right in a new social media post. 2. You don't need to post in real-time while you are at the local business. Feel free to do it later at home or elsewhere. 3. Make sure your social media post is set to "Public" (menu near the top of the post).  If it isn't public, the contest volunteers won't be able to see it, and it won't get registered as an entry. 4.  At a minimum, include the hashtags #LALocalLove and @placesandspacesLA in the post. Including a story about your visit or history with the business, a testimonial, or other comment will make you eligible for bonus prizes in the Grand Prize round. 5.
